Police officer’s alleged illegal acts for criminal lover revealed

A police officer allegedly accessed the restricted police files on her criminal lover and supplied a lengthy intelligence report to an acquaintance.

A former constable has been charged with accessing the restricted police files of her criminal lover and supplying a lengthy police intelligence report to a man known to her.

Nikolina Trajkovska, 30, allegedly disclosed a 24-page NSW Police intelligence document to a man known to her while she was employed as a NSW Police constable.

Police allege she also accessed the restricted police data related to her lover Mitchell Longbottom, 32, four times in just more than two weeks.

Ms Trajkovska is accused of causing unauthorised access to the protected data held on the NSW Police computer system on five occasions between May 31 and July 14.

In addition to Longbottom’s records, she allegedly also sought restricted police data related to a woman who is named as the protected person in an apprehended violence order taken out by police against Longbottom.

Longbottom was last year convicted of a slew of offences, including hindering or resisting police in the execution of their duty and being armed with the intention of committing an indictable offence.

Court records reveal he is serving an intensive corrections order that will expire at the end of the year.

Ms Trajkovska is named as a protected person in an AVO taken out by police against Longbottom last year.

She was not required to appear in Waverley Local Court on Wednesday when her matter was briefly mentioned by her lawyer.

The case was adjourned to March.

The former constable was charged in December last year after police launched an investigation into her actions.

She had resigned from the NSW Police Force prior to the start of the investigation, according to a police statement.
