Home sprayed with bullets, car fire in Gold Coast suburbs

Shots have been fired into a home in a coastal suburb in Queensland, with police probing whether it is linked to a nearby incident.

A home has been sprayed with bullets in a Gold Coast suburb overnight.

Shots were fired into a home on Teal Ave, Paradise Point at about 3.30am on Tuesday, police say.

No injuries have been reported.

A small hatchback was found on fire a short time later on Helensvale Rd, Hope Island.

Two crime scenes have been established. Police are investigating whether the incidents are linked.
