Arrest warrant issued for Paul Hogan’s grandson after drug charge

Police are seeking the arrest of the Crocodile Dundee star Paul Hogan’s grandson as he faces multiple criminal charges.

Police are seeking the arrest of the grandson of Hollywood star Paul Hogan after as he was allegedly busted with illicit drugs and equipment used for breaking into a house.

Court documents reveal the grandson of the Crocodile Dundee star was allegedly in possession of 1.5g of meth shortly before midnight on July 27 in Glebe in Sydney’s CBD.

At the time, he also allegedly had housebreaking equipment, including an adjustable spanner. If found guilty and convicted of both offences, he faces up to two years in prison.

Hogan was due to reappear before the court on Friday for a mention, but after he did not attend despite being called multiple times police applied for a warrant for his arrest.

Mr Hogan is the grandson of famed actor Paul Hogan.

In approving the request, Magistrate Clare Farnan told the court she had found the alleged offences “proven” and that Mr Hogan was due to return to court on August 28.

The court was told the 34-year-old had also breached two community corrections orders and “a number of intensive corrections orders” by not attending court Friday.

It comes after Mr Hogan was in March sentenced after he pleaded guilty to break and enter, larceny, having goods suspected of being stolen and housebreaking equipment.
