Nicole Durdin will swap her copper still for a brass instrument at next weekend’sBarossa, Baroque & Beyond micro-festival.
The Seppeltsfield Road Distillers owner is also a freelance French horn player who has assembled fellow musicians to form a quintet which will perform at the free Horns on the Lawn concert at Peter Lehmann Cellar Door next Sunday, October 6.
“I have tried to make this a very accessible program for the Barossa community and hope to see young people simply enjoying music played at the highest level of musicianship,” said event organiser Margaret Lehmann.
Joseph and James Tawadros will join Leonard and Slava Grigoryan to form Band of Brothers for the Cabaret at Old Red concert later that evening.
The Tawadros brothers will also perform during a dinner show at Maggie Beer’s Farm Eatery on the Saturday, October 5, while the Adelaide Baroque ensemble and organist Calvin Bowman will perform the Sunday afternoon concert at Barossa Regional Gallery.
