The Nuzzo household, in Adelaide’s northeastern suburb of Newton, is yet to receive NBN connection.

They’ve been using their mobile services for internet connection for devices, including a laptop, to download data.

Anna Nuzzo says they’ve been waiting for the high-speed promise of NBN to set up home-based wi-fi.

Having to wait up to another two years for connection is not good enough, she says.

“It’s quite annoying,” says Mrs Nuzzo, 58.

“Why should we be the suburb that misses out?”

The aged care support officer lives with her husband Peter, daughter Francesca and mother Angela.

“Why do we have to wait this long? This is the twenty-first century. With technology being such a major part of our lives — why are we being left behind?”
