A woman died in hospital after she was struck by a ute in one of Sydney’s most exclusive beachside suburbs.

A woman has died in hospital after she was struck by a ute in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
Emergency services were called to Varna Street at Clovelly about 5pm Friday after the 63-year-old woman was hit by a Toyota Hilux.
She was treated by paramedics at the scene before she was rushed to St Vincent’s Hospital in a critical condition.
NSW Police confirmed the woman died on Saturday morning.
The driver of the Hilux, a 40-year-old man, was taken to Prince of Wales Hospital for mandatory testing.
“Officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command established a crime scene, with the Crash Investigation Unit investigating,” Police said.

Police are also seeking assistance over a crash which injured a pedestrian on Parramatta Rd, Annandale, just before 2:30am.
