Three teens have been charged after allegedly carrying out a horrifying carjacking in a crime spree through melbourne’s southeast.

It is alleged the young trio approached an Uber Eats food delivery driver parked outside a home on Romsey Place in Langwarrin about 1.45pm on Thursday.

The 33-year-old victim allegedly desperately tried to pull the teenager from his car before another teen ran from the ute and punched the driver in the head.

As the offender drove away, the man fell under the vehicle and sustained serious injuries.

Police allege the three teenagers dumped the car on Paddington Rd in Oakleigh before breaking into an elderly couples home on nearby Carlisle Crescent.

The three alleged offenders, all 17-years-old, were swiftly arrested by police who surrounded the home.
