Traffic builds as travellers return home from Easter break
Holidaymakers are in for a long drive home, with delays being felt across several major roads as the Easter break comes to an end.

Traffic is building on several arterial roads across the country as people make their way home after the Easter long weekend.
Commuters are being urged to pack their patience and drive to the conditions, with many roads across Queensland and NSW also impacted by recent heavy rain and flooding.

A multi-vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway west of Noosa is adding to already lengthy delays.
There are delays of up to 30 minutes between the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane.
In NSW, traffic is heavy on the Great Western Highway towards the Blue Mountains, on the Pacific Highway near the Hunter Valley and on the Princes Highway in the Illawarra.

People returning to Sydney are also being warned to add extra travel time to their trip.
A truck has rolled on Punchbowl Road at Wiley Park, closing the road in both directions.

Meanwhile, on the Hume Highway at Mount Annan, a multi-vehicle crash has closed one of the southbound lanes near Narellan Road.
Speeds on roads in Victoria area also slowing as people return from their Easter break.
