After experiencing severe cyber bullying, sports presenter and radio host Erin Molan was integral in Parliament’s recent passing of the Online Safety Bill, which now holds Australians accountable for online abuse and trolling.
The media personality tells Body+Soul, “I think it’s really important to pick your battles. If you try to fight too many, the ones that really matter can get lost.
“We move seamlessly between the real world and online now more than ever.
“The laws that exist in real life need to be reflected online.
“Even if you’re not on social media yourself, things that are written can do enormous damage to you and those you love.”
