Antonia Kidman shares her life advice for daughter Lucia

Antonia Kidman opens up about what she wants most for her 22-year-old, Lucia.

During Stellar’s photo shoot with Antonia Kidman and her lookalike daughter Lucia Hawley earlier this year, it was obvious just how close the two are.

Their mother-daughter bond shone brightly as they talked, laughed and poked fun at each other while posing up a storm in their first photo shoot together.

Despite the pair’s deep attachment, Kidman – who has shifted career paths from journalism and presenting to practising law – knows how important it is for her eldest child to be her own person.

“I respect Lucia as an adult. In this sense, I believe she needs the freedom and space to make her own decisions and live her life,” the mother of six tells Stellar On Friday, adding that she’s very proud of the 22-year-old, who has recently graduated and is now working full-time for a production company.

“For this respect to be authentic, it means I’m conscious not to be overly instructive or impose my opinions on her,” she adds.

“I’ll always be her safety net and my love for her is unconditional.”
