Former The Bachelor star turned sexual wellness influencer Abbie Chatfield wears bold statement pieces – and revs up the va-va-voom – in a colourful shoot for Stellar, as she reveals how she plans to keep the party going with her latest gig.
Date nights have looked a little different for Abbie Chatfield of late.
“I’ve done Tinder video calls, but I think it’s hard to form a connection when you can’t actually meet someone [face-to-face],” Chatfield tells Stellar.
“The emotional exhaustion of getting to know someone isn’t really wanted now.”
Still, the former Bachelor Australia favourite and gen-Z sexual-wellness influencer already has her next in-person date-night look planned out. “I’m a ‘set’ girl,” Chatfield explains.
“Before Covid, I’d wear a small top and midi skirt. I know that’s how I feel comfortable, no matter what I’m doing.”
As for how her personal style has changed since she famously announced herself via her star sign (Gemini) on Matt Agnew’s season of The Bachelor in 2019, Chatfield said it comes down to being comfortable in her own skin.
“I’ve become a bit more, maybe, mature. I’ve understood what makes me look and feel the best. Doing photo shoots, you see yourself from a third-party perspective. I now dress more for myself rather than for the people I’m trying to sleep with!”
As well as hosting her own podcast It’s A Lot and communicating daily to her more than 320,000 followers via her Instagram stories, Chatfield is now turning her attention to presenting – as the host of Love Island Australia spin-off talk show Afterparty.
“We’ll bring a different perspective to what’s happening on the show that week,” Chatfield says.
“Love Island is much more sexed up [than The Bachelor],” she says.
“They all enter in their bikinis … kind of the same as swiping a certain way on Tinder.”
Love Island Australia: Afterparty airs Thursdays at 9.30pm on the Nine Network.
