The husband who picked his 40th birthday celebration to lay bare his wife’s alleged philandering has reportedly filed for divorce.

Shocking footage of the furious husband, said to be a New York firefighter named Nick, showed him ambushing his wife of almost three years, Samantha, in front of their horrified friends.

After brutally exposing her alleged affair, he has since served her with divorce papers, sources close to the couple told The New York Post.

Nick’s decision to end his marriage comes weeks after he confronted the 33-year-old mother of his two children during his crowded celebration earlier this month.

“Nick is ready to move on and put this entire chapter of his life behind him,” said one of the two-timed husband’s close friends.

“The trust there is lost, which is sad for their [two] kids. Frankly, I can’t really blame him for [pursuing] the divorce, because he’s still fairly young.”

Jaw-dropping video of the profanity-laced castigation was shared online, and has been seen at least 10 million times across multiple social media platforms.

“The video [of the confrontation] going viral didn’t help,” the friend added.

“There’s really no coming back from that, because it’s going to [live] forever online. It’s sad for those kids.”

“I f****** know everything. That’s right, b****. I know everything,” he shouts into a microphone, as guests can be heard mumbling from behind the camera: “What is happening?”

“Don’t act like you don’t f***ing know,” he told his confused wife.

Nick continued by stating he has seen images of the man’s genitals who Samantha has allegedly been having an affair with, claiming he “wasn’t impressed” before calling her “filthy” for allegedly using emergency contraception.

The couple continue to live under the same roof in Nutley, the sources said.

But reconciliation doesn’t appear to be in the cards.

“You don’t confront your wife in front of every single person you know like that unless you’re certain in your heart you’re done [with her],” one of the sources told The Post this week.

“There are lots of lessons to be learned here.”

The couple has not responded to repeated requests for comment.
