Alix Earle and NFL star Braxton Berrios reportedly split after two years
The influencer and NFL star's relationship has reportedly ended just weeks after fans noticed his absence from her Dancing with the Stars appearances.
Alix Earle and Braxton Berrios have reportedly broken up after nearly two years together.
Sources told People that the couple recently went their separate ways and that their break-up was mutual.
According to other insiders speaking to US Magazine, long-distance played a significant role in their split.
The TikTok influencer, 24, and NFL star, 30, started dating in February 2023 after meeting at a party.
Earle, who has over eight million followers, began subtly hinting about her relationship with “NFL man” and the pair were soon spotted together in a fan video from a restaurant in Miami.
Amid speculation, Earle and the athlete – who was playing for the Miami Dolphins at the time – confirmed their relationship by making their red carpet debut at the 2023 ESPY Awards in July that year.
In September 2025, Earle became a contestant on Dancing with the Stars Season 34.
She and her dance partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, made it to the finals but finished second behind Robert Irwin and Witney Carson.
Notably, Berrios was not seen at the live episode tapings during the 11-week competition.
While fans were sceptical, Earle explained his absence was due to NFL commitments.
At a press event in September, she said her then-boyfriend couldn’t attend her first show because he was “stuck in football world”.
However, he did support her from afar via social media from time to time.
During the third episode, Berrios shared a photo on his Instagram Stories showing announcers Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro during the show’s introduction.
“Let’s gooo!” he wrote next to it, with a red heart added next to Earle’s face, which was visible in the background of the photo.
He also sent a video message supporting Earle, which was played on the show.
“I’ve watched you pour everything into this since the moment it has started, and I think it shows,” Berrios said. “Good luck. Have fun, babe”.
Even though DWTS and NFL seasons overlapped, Earle still made time to celebrate Berrios’ 30th birthday – organising a big surprise party for him with his family and friends in Los Angeles.
“I wanted to plan something special for him,” she wrote. “All of his best friends flew out to L.A. just to surprise him and be here for this night”.
Although Berrios didn’t attend DWTS events or tapings, they supported each other at different times during their relationship.
Earle often went to Berrios’ NFL games, and Berrios appeared at promotional events for Earle’s other projects, like her SipMARGS beverage brand.
After news of the reported split broke online, fans took to the comment sections with their thoughts.
“Wait no I’m actually so devastated,” one said about the beloved couple.
“NOO I love them together,” said another.
Some suggested there were clear signs during DWTS.
“Well ya …. He never showed up at DWTS …. If we wanted to, he would….” said a third.
