‘We were together for 12 years and have 3 kids… now he’s dating my stepmum’

It’s the stuff of daytime television, but for Lauzy, it’s her real life.

When Lauzy tells the story of her relationship breakdown, the mum-of-three has to laugh.

Because even though it was an extremely painful time, it also seemed completely ludicrous; it was the kind of story you might see on a daytime talk show. A trashy one.

“This is my storytime on how my baby daddy is now in a relationship with my stepmother,” she began the viral TikTok.

She paused to snicker, acknowledging how crazy the situation sounded.

“I can laugh about it now,” she said.

“It wasn’t funny at the time, but yeah.”

Lauzy, who posts regularly to TikTok about life as a UK mum with three children, said that last year she and her ex-partner split up after 12 years.

“I was very unhappy in the relationship,” she explained to followers.

But even though she was free of a toxic situation, Lauzy couldn’t help checking on her ex from time to time, seeing if he’d found new love.

It didn’t take long for him to move on, but the person he chose to fall in love with was the last person Lauzy expected.

'I found out my ex is now with my stepmum'

Lauzy’s ex still had a SIM card in her name, which meant checking on his call and text history was easy.

“And so I rightly checked my itemised billing, and saw that he was actually ringing and texting [my stepmum] constantly.”

She was furious and sent her ex and her stepmum a series of angry messages.

“And then fast forward four weeks. They moved in together.”

Her ex retaliated, removing the tattoo of Lauzy’s name from his chest, and tattooing over the spot with her stepmum’s name.

“He’s blocked my number.”

Lauzy’s stepmum is also upset by the situation and has blocked her as well. “She can’t bear the thought [of us having been together]. It kills her inside for her to think that he has anything to do with me.”

Although Lauzy was furious, she said she took solace in the knowledge that the relationship “wouldn’t end well”.

“He’ll be back in his mum’s box room with not even a child to his name because he hasn’t cared about them, and I’ll be the one laughing,” she said.

TikTok shocked over ‘daytime TV’ love story

Lauzy’s followers were supportive.

“She’s Shien, you’re Dior darling,” one person said.

“OMG. You’re well rid of both. Stay strong beautiful,” said another.

“You’re better than me,” a third person said. “I’d have them as my profile picture, cover photo, posters on every wall. You’ve got this.”

Others couldn’t believe her ex had abandoned his kids.

“Shocking how they can turn their back on the kids,” one person said.

“My eldest calls him by his name now,” Lauzy said. “Won’t call him dad.”
