Parents leave baby with car dealer so they can test-drive a car

Trying to do everyday errands with a little one in tow is a struggle that many parents know all too well.

Whether it's the logistical nightmare of managing a toddler while navigating the supermarket aisles or trying to calm a crying baby while waiting in line at the bank, sometimes we wish there was someone we could just palm them off to...

Well, one couple managed to do exactly that, after arriving at a car dealership to test out a new car.

They decided to leave their baby in the care of a car salesman while they took a car for a test drive.

The footage, taken by another employee, is both hilarious and heartwarming at the same time.

The customers left the salesman with their baby

Car salesman Randy Ross filmed the moment his co-worker was handed a baby to look after while potential customers took out a car for a spin.

The man is seen strolling around the car dealership with the precious cargo, smiling and laughing as he realises he's being filmed.

He clearly has no issue with the task he's been given — talk about customer service!

Behind the camera, Randy is laughing uncontrollably as he watches his co-worker do laps with the baby in between cars.

"Dealership never gets old," he captioned the viral clip, which now has 1.4 million views.

"Anything for that deal"

Commenters found the scene just as funny, with many saying that you 'gotta do what you gotta do' to seal the deal.

"Really working for that commission," another pointed out.

Someone else said, "That's some insane collateral."

"That's what I was thinking!" replied someone else. "Definitely coming back for that right?!"

"It takes a village," a different viewer claimed, while others theorised why the parents left their baby.

"I understand that. Moving car seats is rough, especially for a 10-minute drive," one woman said.

"They probably want to test the vehicle without a baby to see how it feels when driving alone," guessed another viewer.
