"My mum's bf tore up my little sister's homework"
In the post, the worried brother explained further:
"It wasn't even about changing something's pronouns, it was literally just the basic concept of them.
"And when he found out he got so pissed off that the school was teaching this stuff that he ripped it up and told her it was better to get an F than to be learning about it.
"When I confronted him about it, he started going on a rant about schools being too liberal and that pronouns didn't exist until my generation made them up."
Fearful of the consequences for his little sister at school, the brother added that he, "wrote a note for her teacher explaining that my sister did the homework and did it correctly and explained why she wouldn't be able to turn it in.
"Hopefully she doesn't get in trouble for this."

"Did he actually go to school?"
"Did he actually go to school? Because pronouns were absolutely taught in schools. Good God these people need to get a grip. A grown adult ripping up a child's homework is shameful!" was one of the most liked comments.
This person agreed, adding, "The funny thing of course is there's no way you could have written this post without using lots of pronouns. Almost as if pronouns are a normal and important part of speech!" But mostly, people were concerned for the children's safety when with the man.
"Where is your mother? Seriously: where is your mother?" one questioned.
"This ignorant loser is crushing her child's BASIC education and you are writing notes to the school to explain the abuse?
"Why isn't the school having every red alarm going off that a sibling is the one writing notes instead of the legal guardian.
"His absolutely insipid issue with pronouns is actually near the bottom of the issues I read in this post."
Finally, this comment summarised things best: "Your mum's boyfriend is a moron, and your mum is a terrible judge of people."
