The toddler stage can be super cute. Watching your little one grow and discover the world is a magical thing. It can also come with unexpected surprises, like the toddler who described her birth in terrifying detail, or the one whose demands for breakfast sounded like an expletive.
One mum has shared a recent experience that was both surprising and traumatic... it's also pretty funny.

"I nearly cried!"
A mum on TikTok has shared a video of her son's 'cute' Halloween pyjamas that traumatised her when he woke up at 4am looking like a headless skeleton.
She captioned the post, "I nearly cried!" and it's since had more than 39,000 views.
"I bought Harlow what I thought were cute little pyjamas," she writes in the text on the video that shows her adorable son in a cute black onesie with a skeleton printed on it.
The next shot reveals that the skeleton actually glows in the dark and is missing one vital body part.
"This is what I woke up to at 4.06 this morning," she continues.
Later in the comments, the mum pointed out that the walking skeleton had no head and she was "so scared" when it appeared in her room in the early hours of the morning.
She said, "It was funny after I woke up properly and remembered I had a son and not a headless skeleton."

"I’d be so scared"
People on TikTok loved these clever pyjamas but agreed they could be terrifying if you weren't expecting them to glow in the dark.
"Nah I’d be so scared," commented one person.
Another added, "I got my wee girl them, she wouldn't sleep, kept laughing and poking the glow-in-the-dark bits."
"I have a pair of those for myself," chimed in a third.
And one person recalled their friend going through similar.
"My friend's twins have them and they keep running to bathroom to 'get something'" they said. "Realised they were charging them so they'd glow again."
Do you want a pair of these for yourself?
