However, a recent update from Victoria Police believes the boy had checked into emergency accommodation in Surry Hills, Sydney, shortly before 5am on Tuesday.
The school believed the year 11 student was absent from school due to sickness, but his family had no clue about his absence until he was reported missing.
“Krishank has been going from home saying that he was going to school and he hasn’t gone to school,” the teen’s aunt, Mathangi, told 7News.
“He comes home at the same time as you come back from school.”

“I have not slept a minute”
According to his mother, the Year 11 student is “so good at his studies, he's one of the most brilliant boys in his class”.
She said she had no clue what her son could have been doing while he was supposed to be at school.
According to a report from 9News, Shobara claimed he had logged into his school’s network and marked himself as absent on holiday on behalf of a parent.
Now, the heartbroken Victorian mother has shared an impassioned plea for her teen to come home.
“I am just non-stop crying. All I’m praying is that you are back, Krish,” she told 7News. “I have not slept a minute. He knows he’s the world, he’s our world.”
Krishank was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, black pants and black shoes.
