Method:

  1. Draw your race track on your piece of cardboard.
  2. Put the piece of cardboard into the t-shirt with the design facing the back. Secure with pegs or clips.
  3. Use a pencil to lightly trace the track if it is difficult to see through the shirt.
  4. Dip the front two wheels of your toy truck into some black fabric paint. Carefully follow the line of the track with your truck. Keep dipping the wheels into the paint as needed.
  5. Once you have the race track printed, take your square block and dip it into the red fabric paint. Stamp a few times around the track. These will be our STOP signs.
  6. Repeat this process with a circle lid using green and yellow paint. These will be our GO and SLOW signs. Feel free to add any other road signs you like!
  7. Once the paint dries on the signs, use your white and black paint pens to write on them.
  8. If you like, you can use a square paint brush or paint pen to do some dots down the centre of the race track.

So, start your engines - ready, steady, go!

*Probably not totally relaxing.
