Kids meeting their newborn siblings is a sacred moment - as testified by billions of clips on the internet.

It's one of the most important occasion to many parents; which is why one mum recently was determined to capture her daughter meeting her new sister.

Her phone was set up, she was ready to greet her little girl for the first time since giving birth... and then, her husband walked through the door.

The most epic dad failed to have ever been captured

Mum AlyssaA posted a clip of the moment to TikTok, and the footage is so utterly incredible, it's been viewed almost two million times.

As mentioned above, the scene is set for a magical introduction. Alyssa's young daughter walks in, followed closely by her dad, as Alyssa cradles the new baby in a hospital bed.

So far, so good.

But before Alysssa's little girl gets her introduction... her father, Alyssa's husband, put a giant keep cup on the table, right in front of where her phone has been strategically placed to make memories.

The viewer is immediately cut off from watching the proud mum with her two girls for the first time.

It is stomach-dropping to watch as Alyssa is not aware of the disastrous recording until seconds later - when the moment has passed.

Seeing the blocked camera, her face freezes, and she asks, 'Baby, what the..?' She moves the cup and looks up at her husband, still smiling but confused.

And then the clip ends.

"The most dad move I've ever seen"

As to be expected, millions of viewers wanted to know, what happened next?

Well, we don't get to know. But people still found the incident a 'scream out loud' moment - especially those who are married.

"Omfg this is exactly what marriage is. When someone asks what it's like to be married show them this video. That's it," one joked.

Another laughed, "I'm a husband and I'm mad at myself for his cup placement."

One viewer called it, "The most dad move I've seen."

Many were impressed with Alyssa keeping her cool, predicting that they'd have had a much stronger reaction.

"Omg! Just get out. Take your massive cup and get OUT," was one response, whilst another wrote, "Ooh my god nooo… 😭 why are they like this?? Like whyyy."

Others were convinced that the dad knew what her was doing: "I swear he looks directly at the phone as he walks in and still proceeds to place the dang cup there."

But we loved this viewer's solution the most: "Ugh now you gotta have another baby!"
