YOUR home should be a retreat — a comfortable haven where you can relax in solitude as well as enjoy time with the family. And a good home design can provide effective spaces for both.
Mojo Homes have found the perfect balance in the Nova 32, a place where the family can come together but with areas for individuals to retreat to in private as well.
The ground floor of the Nova 32 is entirely dedicated to communal spaces and will undoubtedly be the heart of the home with the combined living and dining area, open plan kitchen and home theatre.
The second storey is where you will find the sleeping quarters. The highlight of this home is the parents’ retreat, which takes up half of the second storey and discretely separates the master suite at the front from the rest of the bedrooms at the rear.
The design cleverly separates the home in to subtle hubs — one for everyday living, one for sleeping and one for entertaining.
The designer says this home is designed for living, with room for the whole family, and that’s exactly what it provides.
LIVING
The beating heart of this home is the living quarters, contained towards the rear on the ground floor.
At the entrance of the home you will find a home theatre and down a short hallway, the centre of the home expands into a large open-style living area.
The entire rear of the home is open, making it easy for family members, or guests, to interact between the living, dining and kitchen areas and allowing plenty of light to drench the active areas of the home.
The galley-style kitchen has plenty of bench space on either side of the stove area and the island benchtop can double as a breakfast bar.
A walk-in pantry is tucked away behind the refrigerator nook.
Off this open section of the home you will find a covered outdoor area with sliding doors making it an extension of the internal space and a great location for entertaining guests.
BEDROOMS
There’s a sense of serenity knowing the sleeping quarters are contained on the entire second storey of this home. But the highlight of this floor is the parents’ retreat set out in the front section to the right of the staircase.
At the top of the stairs, you will find the living area with a small hallway leading you into the master suite.
You can enter the walk-in robe from the bedroom, which flows on to a double ensuite that contains a separate toilet.
This whole section of the second storey can operate as a parents’ retreat.
At the other end of this level are three good-sized bedrooms, each with a built-in wardrobe and serviced by a full bathroom with separate toilet and walk-in linen closet.
