The Lakes Norwest in Baulkham Hills: Haven to release 79 off-the-plan apartments starting at $650k

NEW Norwest precinct Haven will be released to the market in coming months. The first stage will include 79 off-the-plan one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments.

AN estimated 10,000 people will be living in The Lakes Norwest in Baulkham Hills by 2020 now that developer Mulpha has announced plans to expand the business hub with a residential and retail development.

The new precinct, Haven, will be released to the market in coming months. The first stage will include 79 off-the-plan one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments.

Designed by architect Krikis Tayler, most will have lake, park or district views that residents will enjoy through floor-to-ceiling windows. The interiors will be carried out by design company SJB, which has focused on classic and neutral tones.

Registrations of interest are now being fielded by the Mulpha Norwest team.

FACILITIES ON THE DOORSTEP

Haven’s residents will have access to a heated swimming pool and communal entertainment facilities, “including teenage breakout rooms, music tutelage rooms, and even a bike-sharing facility” managed by the building’s concierge, according to Mulpha Norwest general manager Tim Spencer.

Tim says a retail precinct will include cafes on the ground level. The surrounding area features a network of walkways while Norwest Marketown, with its Coles supermarket and specialty stores, is in walking distance.

Haven will be connected to the CBD via the Norwest railway station, a 500m walk away.

“Haven will be a premium example of a modern community that provides all the lifestyle and security demanded by increasingly sophisticated owners,” Tim says.

“We expect Haven at The Lakes to become one of the Hills’ most sought-after residences.”

Prices for the first release start at $650,000 for one-bedroom apartments. Two-bedders start at $875,000, and three-bedrooms from $1,395,000.

A three-bedroom dual-key option will also be available. This allows a two-bedroom and one-bedroom apartment to be on the same title, allowing owners to live in one and rent the other. This novel arrangement will set you back about $1,475,000.

CENTRALISED LIVING

Mulpha Norwest recently completed the Bella Vista Waters residential estate and had previous success with the Norwest Business Park, which launched in 1992.

Norwest has since grown into one of the country’s largest masterplanned, integrated business communities. The 377ha estate combines employment, commercial, retail and residential in one central position.
