A puppy death in Sydney is being investigated after its owner returned home to find the six-month-old labrador injured and unresponsive.
The owner found chocolate labrador Coco injured and unresponsive in their Freshwater backyard on the northern beaches about 3.15pm on Tuesday.
The dog was immediately taken to the local vet but died.
X-rays show the dog had a fractured skull, and police are now investigating.
