Supermodel Gisele Bundchen goes ‘deeper' in her Chanel No. 5 campaign

GISELE Bundchen has spoken about what it means to be “the woman of today” in a new interview with style bible Vogue Australia.

And the Brazilian supermodel has shown why she’s one of the fashion world’s most bankable faces by posing in a “no make-up” selfie on Instagram.

Looking every inch the supermodel, Bundchen, 34, went barefaced as she posted a snap on Instagram saying “go Pats” — referring to her husband, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

Meantime, Bundchen spoke to Vogue Australia about her starring role in the TV campaign for Chanel No. 5, directed by Baz Luhrmann.

“When Baz and I started talking about the core of it, we wanted to think about who is the woman of today,” Bundchen told the latest edition of the magazine, posing in a shoot styled by Christine Centenera in New York.

“You know, it’s Chanel — the chicest, most exclusive brand in the world.

“But if you want to go deeper, we wanted to talk about the woman who is a mother, a wife, a career woman, and how all women are trying to find the time to really live out all aspects of their life.”

The film, which Luhrmann described as “a trailer for a movie that never got made”, is set to a seductive cover of You’re The One That I Want from Grease, and shows Gisele on a Chanel surfboard and on the grounds of a beachfront mansion.

Luhrmann told Vogue that Bundchen has “so much energy” and is “full-on about life, love, what she’s doing”.

The January edition of Vogue Australia is out now.
