Aussies stunned as Big W sells designer $940 product
The Australian retailer has dropped jaws as items from a major designer brand have been found for sale on their website.

A popular Australian department store has left customers in shock after people noticed products from a major designer brand are for sale on their website.
Eagle-eyed consumers have discovered Big W has a small selection of Gucci products for sale on their website, with prices ranging between $135.50 to $950.
The products include six perfumes, however the most contested items were the leather wallets.
Going for $795 was the Gucci Women’s Interlocking GG Leather Small Wallet in red, and the Gucci Women’s Bifold Interlocking GG Leather Long Wallet in black for $949.
Both of the hot items have now sold out, leaving only the perfumes to be snapped up.
The products are listed on Big W’s Market, which allows “hand-picked, trusted sellers” to list everything from furniture, tech, to home decor.
People in the Markdown Addicts Australia Facebook group have been sent into a frenzy with the find, with some asking whether it’s an April Fools joke.
“Great price! Costco occasionally sell designer things too,” one person said.
Another appeared surprised at the price of the wallets.
“$940? Just because it’s Gucci? Wow,” they wrote.
Gucci isn’t the only high end brand being sold on the marketplace, with Chanel No 5 going for $500.
A select few YSL and Dolce and Gabbana products are also up on the Market.
