“There is something wrong…”
A Bluey fan has taken to Reddit this week to expose what they think might be an error in the animation of one of the episodes.
The photos shown showcase one of Bluey’s most iconic toys - featured first in the season one episode ‘Grannies’ - her beloved car.
In the first clip, the car is shown to have an open floor, with Bluey controlling it by walking. But, in the second, we see the car tipped over, with a solid floor.
“So... Bluey glitches her legs through the car?” they said.
“There is something wrong, I can’t find out what…”

“I sure hope someone got fired!”
Commenters on the post were equally as confused by the error, making jokes at its expense.
“Boy I sure hope someone got fired for that blunder,” one person said.
“Her legs phase through it,” said another.
One person provided an argument that the ‘error’ may have been intentional, for the sake of ease for the animators.
“I'll tell you the reason for this from the animation perspective. It's easier to draw a bottom on the car than it is to draw what should really be there,” they shared.
It might not be an error!
But, as it turns out, it may not be an error at all.
The car, inspired by the cars many Aussie kids have driven in their childhoods, is reminiscent of a Little Tikes car (you know, those red and yellow ones?).
These cars have removable floors, meaning that little ones can either control it themselves with the floor out, or the floor can be added back in, to instead be pushed by parents behind.
There was even a car created off the back of the ‘Grannies’ car - removable floor and all!
“I meannnn technically speaking... in the little tikes cars IRL the floorboard is removable,” one commenter pointed out.
“The little tikes cars have removable floors. Specifically, the Bluey product modelled after this car has a removable floor,” another shared.
“Some cars for small children have a seat with an open floor,” said a third.
Sorry we ever doubted you, Bluey!
