Cancer Council Charity Trivia Night

This Cancer Council Charity Trivia Night starts as you walk into the Garden Pavilion of the iconic Oaks Hotel. As you arrive you will be greeted by MC for the night, Rufus Barr with a complimentary welcome drink. There will be around 20 minutes of mingling time before the trivia starts. There are great prizes up for grabs and most importantly you will be raising much needed funds for cancer research.

Twilight Food Fair

Enjoy a vast array of international food, a relaxed dining environment and great entertainment on a beautiful warm spring evening. This food fair has activities and entertainment for all to enjoy and is a lovely way to lead into the weekend with family or friends. If you have the opportunity it is definitely worth getting down to Civic Park and checking out one of the most popular events in the North Sydney area since 1990. The fair runs every Friday from 26th October 2018 – 1st March 2019

Eastwood Night Markets

This weekly night market is the perfect event for the whole family to enjoy. Running every Saturday from 4pm-10pm, Eastwood Night Markets offers an array of cultural food delights including Chinese, Malaysian, Wood Fire Pizza, Gelato and many more. You can also enjoy product and fresh flower stalls that are set up throughout the market.

Light Up East Ryde

Light Up East Ryde is a local Christmas street market where family and friends come together in the spirit of Christmas. There will be live entertainment, free petting farm zoo and face painting, a Santa cave, the official lighting of the rooftop Christmas decorations at 8pm and the Ryde Rotary raffle draw. This is a free family focused event that everyone can enjoy and get into the spirit of Christmas.

Keep Fit in the Park

Running is infinitely more fun when you do it with other people, so why not join runners of all abilities and ages take part in this timed 5km run each Saturday. The Parkrun movement is organised by volunteers and participants should first register online.

The Northside produce market brings fresh produce straight from the farms to Sydney. Women’s Big Bash League

North Sydney Oval will once again be the host of a Rebel WBBL weekend. Make sure you head down to North Sydney Oval for loads of fun family activities from Friday to Sunday. There will be four huge matches and you will have the opportunity to meet you favorite WBBL players. The activities will include music, competition, face painting, fireworks and more.

Special Olympics Australia – SOAR & ROAR Festival

The SOAR & ROAR festival is Australia’s most inclusive motoring festival celebrating International Day of People with a Disability and powered by the motorsport community at Sydney Motorsport Park. The festival offers a variety of fun, inclusive activities for people of all ages including; live entertainment, hot laps in a Formula Ford, and amusement rides for kids, a petting zoo, market stalls and much more. Rotary Carols on the Common

Grab the family and head down to North Ryde Common for an authentic carols experience at Sydney’s second largest Christmas Carols in the heart of Ryde. The Carols on the Common will kick off on Sunday 16th December at 5:30pm, with carols beginning at 8pm. The night will conclude with a firework display at 9:15pm. Don’t forget to pack a picnic blanket and some snacks – there will also be food available from a range of different food vendors on the night. There will be a bucket collection of a gold coin donation on the night – all money raised will go to worthy causes such as ROMAC.
