Love Island “bombs” Mitch Hibberd and Tina Provis left the show together on Wednesday night — so what happened next?

Love hasn’t struck twice for former AFL player Mitch Hibberd and Sydney PR consultant Tina Provis.

After winning Love Island last year, the pair returned unaware that the other would be a “bomb” this series.

They left the show together on Wednesday night but have since gone their separate ways.

“I was grateful to have a second run at it but at the end of the day I’d feel bad taking the opportunity away from another couple,’’ Hibberd said.

“I was just over there in Spain to cause chaos and blow this villa up. I came back to earth pretty quick when I saw Tina. It was pretty wild. We did continue to see each other but there were a lot of challenges and right now we’ve decided to be friends.”

Hibberd was unsure if he would have found love but said it was a mature call to split from Tina as he couldn’t give “110 per cent”.

Hibberd is developing a skincare range with former North Melbourne teammate Taylor Garner.
