You’ve either landed on this page because you’re bloodthirsty for new episodes of What We Do in the Shadows, or you want to know more about this weird and wonderful series.

Good news for all parties, the third season is just days away, with a double episode premiere on Binge* on September 3, while seasons one and two are also available on the Aussie streaming platform in case you wish to sink your teeth in for the first time.

Now a little about the show. The side-splittingly funny comedy horror is based on the 2014 movie of the same name by acclaimed New Zealand director Taika Waititi, in partnership with fellow Kiwi, actor Jemaine Clement.

The duo also starred in the film and delighted fans when they briefly reprised their roles as New Zealand vampires Viago von Dorna Schmarten Scheden Heimburg and Vladislav the Poker in the first season of the television series back in 2019.

But the show, which is co-produced by Waititi and Clement, focuses on a host of new vampires entirely, following the nightly escapades of Staten Island vampire roommates Nandor (Kayvan Novak), Nadja (Natasia Demetriou), Laszlo (Matt Berry) and Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch) as they navigate the modern world with their human familiar, Guillermo (Harvey Guillén).

With the first two seasons receiving favourable reviews, the show has already been renewed for a fourth season ahead of its season 3 premiere.
