They like to party, and 27 years after first hitting the scene, they are bringing the “Boom, Boom, Boom” back to Australia.
The Vengabus has arrived, and the Vengaboys are gearing to prove they are still the party animals they once were ahead of their new tour, headlining the 90s Mania concert with members Captain Kim, PartyGirl D’Nice, Sailor Robin and Cowboy Donny all returning down under.
Joining the group at 19, Robin Pors said even in his 27th year as a Vengaboy, with many trips to Ibiza, Sydney is still his favourite destination to visit.
“It’s such a beautiful city,” Pors told confidential.
“I can’t wait to go out have some beautiful food, and pretend like I live here.”
Still feeling like a kid in the 90s, Pors is honoured that his music has transcended decades in Australia, with hits We Like to Party, Boom, Boom Boom, and Shalala Lala regular party tunes on a night out.
“The 90s was such a long time ago, but people love that time, people love feeling like they were in that time, such good memories,” he said.
“The Vengaboys give that energy, when life seemed like it was better and Australia just loves that feeling.”
Pors and his group are kicking off their tour in Perth before heading to Sydney for a four-day trip.
The group has claimed Saturday night’s show at the Enmore will be a night fans wont forget.
