We’ve got a new Married At First Sight villain … The show’s intruder bride has horrified viewers with her “mean” behaviour toward her partner.

Married At First Sight intruder bride Tayla Winter has shocked viewers with her “horrible” treatment of her TV husband.

The 27-year-old Tasmanian nurse ‘married’ IT executive Hugo Armstrong, 32, on Monday night’s episode, and things quickly went south during their honeymoon last night.

Despite delivering genuinely heartwarming vows, “goofball” Hugo failed to meet Tayla’s high expectations, with the bride instantly giving him the cold shoulder.

First, she made him sleep on a day bed near the freezing cold window in their hotel room on the first night of their honeymoon. And then, she devised, and won, a bet during a game of croquet that meant, per her terms, Hugo had to sleep on the couch for the “whole experiment”.

A frustrated Hugo took it upon himself to call Tayla out on her attitude, as he asked her what she had asked the MAFS experts for in a partner.

“Probably someone the opposite of you,” she said. “When I first saw you I was like, ‘I don’t think he’s very sporty’. I think the way you speak as well … I actually requested someone that didn’t talk much. [I wanted] a man’s man. Tradie. Footballer. Bit rowdy. Likes to drink beer, and beer only. That’s my type of guy. You’re probably not my type. There’s your answer, you happy?”

Tayla has already rubbed viewers up the wrong way.

The Tassie nurse is certainly feisty …

Handling the brutal response with as much dignity as he could muster, Hugo said his biggest gripe was that Tayla didn’t give him a chance, and had instead been a “b**ch” the “entire time.”

He added, “I feel like no part of you wants to work on it.”

Tayla then told Hugo to “shut up”, before saying his voice was “annoying”.

Hugo’s face says it all.

It’s safe to say after Melissa Sheppard’s exit from the show on Sunday, Tayla has become the new ‘villain’ of MAFS 2023, with viewers flooding social media to declare her behaviour “horrible”.

Tayla made a scene before she even appeared on the show, when she dropped a bombshell claim about a fellow bride on Instagram before Channel 9 took control of her account earlier this month.

She took to her Instagram stories with shocking allegations about fellow bride Lyndall Grace, the girl-next-door WA accountant who has struggled to find love due to her battle with cystic fibrosis.

Tayla accused the unsuspecting bride of being the “biggest bully ever”, adding she had “hurt” multiple people with her alleged behaviour.

“I feel it’s important to get this out before my accounts get taken,” Tayla wrote. “Lyndall, you’re the biggest bully I’ve ever met. This article is surface level and the amount of hurt you have caused many people is damaging and dangerous.

“I’m hoping people get to tell their truth and the real story is heard sooner rather than later.”
