The stars of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Whitney Rose and Heather Gay, are Down Under for the first time and they’re keen to stay.

The 'Real' Real Housewives of Sydney: Volume 2

The Real Housewives of Sydney watch out, these Salt Lake City babes want a slice of your turf.

Whitney Rose, 38, and Heather Gay, 50, from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City are Down Under for the first time and they’re keen to stay.

“We would love to move to Australia,” Rose said, in town for streaming service Hayu.

“We’ve seen a few clips from the Australian version, hold onto your purses and vegemite ladies, we’re coming for you.”

Welcomed into the country with classic sausage rolls and meat pies, the reality stars took a trip to the zoo and met our native animals, but that’s not all they fell in love with.”

Gay said: “I’m obsessed with your tradies, I didn’t know that they were called that, I just thought they were called handsome men. But I’ve learned from my guides that they have a specific type, I call them big buff shorties. One day in Australia feels like the best week of my life. We’ve done more in 24 hours than, in terms of bucket list, milestone moments than in 10 years.”

The Real Housewives of Sydney meanwhile streams on Binge.

Often labelled as “fake”, there’s more than glitz and glamour to the dynamic Salt Lake City duo.

“There’s more to me than just being a housewife,” Rose said.

“Heather always calls me the pretty one, but I don’t want to be the pretty one, because I am someone, because I am smart too. I feel like I always am shown on my drama side but I’m actually a really chill, Zen person, and I get so activated around these women,” she said.

With new episodes released every Thursday on Hayu, Rose and Gay showed a bit of their “real” selves this season when they took the other wives up in the mountains camping.

“Designer couture is highly flammable, I don’t advise it for camping. If we were left in the wilderness we (her and Rose) could survive but it turns out we fought too much and didn’t even get to do the craft,” Gay said.
