Is one of these girls the next Jennifer Hawkins?
Seven Victorian finalists were chosen to compete in the 2014 Miss Universe Australia in the hopes of securing the coveted crown that also catapulted the careers of Jessinta Campbell, Laura Dundovic and Scherri-Lee Biggs.
An exhaustive regime of fake tanning, hair curling, cheek bronzing and teeth whitening preceded yesterday’s on stage action at the Sofitel on Collins where contestants competed in evening wear, swimwear and public speaking categories before a judging panel.
The finalists: Alysha Mazzon, Alex Hecker, Nicola Williams, Letitia Sindt, Kiani Trisna, Anna McEvoy and Jessica Parish will all compete in the national final next month.

The winner will then go on to represent Australia at Donald Trump’s international Miss Universe final, the second most watched event in the world with over 1 billion viewers, second to the World Cup.
