Virginia Giuffre’s father makes extraordinary allegation in first interview since her death: ‘Got to her’

Virginia Giuffre’s father has made an extraordinary allegation to Piers Morgan in his first interview since her death.

Heartbreaking new details emerge about the shocking death of Virginia Giuffre

IN LONDON

Virginia Giuffre’s devastated father has sensationally claimed there is “no way” his daughter took her own life in his first interview since her death.

Ms Giuffre was found dead at her farmhouse in Neergabby, north of Perth, last week with her family confirming the tragic news and describing her as a “lifelong victim of sexual abuse and sex trafficking”.

Before her death, Ms Giuffre had accused Prince Andrew of sexual assault, claiming she had met him through late billionaire sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. The Duke of York has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing.

Ms Giuffre filed a lawsuit against him in 2021, and the pair settled the following year for an undisclosed sum of money.

Speaking on Piers Morgan Uncensored for the first time since his daughter’s passing, Sky Roberts insisted that she was not suicidal.

“Well, first of all, I couldn’t even believe it. I mean, I started crying right away. I’m still crying. I can’t believe that this is happening. It just, it’s impossible,” he claimed.

“And then for them to say that she committed suicide, there’s no way that she did. Somebody got to her.”

Police were called to Ms Giuffre’s rural property on Friday evening and found her unresponsive. They were unable to revive her.

Her family later released a statement, saying she had died by suicide.

“Virginia was a fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse and sex trafficking,” it read.

“She was the light that lifted so many survivors. Despite all the adversity she faced in her life, she shone so bright.

“In the end, the toll of abuse is so heavy that it became unbearable for Virginia to handle its weight. She will be missed beyond measure.”

Mr Roberts’ shocking claim comes after WA barrister, Karrie Louden, who had been Ms Giuffre’s legal representative since January, also sensationally cast doubt on reports about the manner of her death.

In an interview with The Sun, Ms Louden said she had “big question marks” over the claim as there were “no signs” she wanted to end her life in the weeks leading up to her death.

“We’ve got big question marks over it,” she said.

“There’s suicide and then there’s misadventure. Has she just taken too many painkillers? Was she intentionally doing it?

“I don’t even know what the cause of death was.

“The family said what the family has said but I’m not going to speculate whether it was suicide or accidental,” said Ms Louden

“She was in a lot of pain but she was looking forward to things in the future.

“I was here this time last week and things were positive.

“I’m a defence lawyer, so I don’t like to speculate about things. I like beyond reasonable doubt.”

Ms Louden added that she had spoken to her client in the days before her body was found and heard nothing that caused any concern.

Meanwhile, when asked by Morgan how he wanted his daughter to be remembered, Mr Roberts said: “As someone who actually got out of a bad situation and made a good situation out of it, that she was helping a lot of other young girls that were feeling the pain of what goes on with people like that”.

He added: “I think she’s strong, very strong, and that’s why I don’t think she committed suicide. She had too much to live for. She had her foundation”.

Mr Roberts also addressed allegations that the photo of Ms Giuffre with Prince Andrew taken in 2001 in London was a fake, revealing that it had been sent to him “many years ago”, prior to it becoming “public knowledge”.

“Virginia sent the original picture, so I know it wasn’t faked, but the original picture of Prince Andrew and her with Ghislaine Maxwell in the background, so I know that’s true that she did. She was there with him,” he said on the YouTube show.

The bombshell interview comes just a day after Ms Giuffre’s heartbreaking final letter was released by members of her family, who declared that “her voice will not be silenced”.

The handwritten note was posted on social media by her grieving sister-in-law, Amanda Roberts (the wife of Ms Giuffre’s brother), who also pledged to fight on in her name.

“Hello world. We found a handwritten note that our sister Virginia wrote,” Ms Roberts wrote in her Facebook tribute.

“I think it’s important that the survivors know that she’s with you and her voice will not be silenced.

“I know that it’s so important, and her wish is that we continue to fight.”

After quoting her late sister-in-law’s message, she added: “To all survivors and those protesting. We stand with you in solidarity and know the fight is not over!”
