HBO’s The White Lotus is coming back for another season – and we now know it’s going to look very different than it did before.

The White Lotus has announced new cast members for Season 3, leaving fans shocked.

Only one original cast member is returning, with all-new residents heading to The White Lotus resort, reports The U.S. Sun.

Six new cast members are joining actress Natasha Rothwell, who plays Belinda in the series.

They include Jason Isaacs, Leslie Bibb, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Dom Hetrakul, and Tayme Thapthimthong, according to Deadline.

The third season of the anthology series will be set in Thailand and start filming in Bangkok in February.

The plot will centre around a new group of people at a separate White Lotus property.

The outlet reported that although not much is known about the season, it will include a multi-generational group of a patriarch, a female corporate executive, an actress, a couple of mothers – including a country club wife – a misfit and a yogi.

The White Lotus is intended as a six-part limited series on HBO.

Jennifer Coolidge is not returning after reprising her role in Season 2.

Deadline also reported that more actors are currently being negotiated for the upcoming season.

Season 3 will air in 2025, after the strikes delayed filming, according to Casey Bloys, Chairman and CEO of HBO and Max.

‘Super-sized’

Creator Mike White told Deadline in November that Season 3 was going to be bigger than ever before.

“It’s going to be a super-sized White Lotus. It’s going to be longer, bigger, crazier,” he said.

“I don’t know what people will think, but I am super excited, so at least for my own barometer, that’s a good thing.”

White is also the executive producer and director of the series.

It is not clear how many episodes Season 3 will have.

‘Here for it!’

White Lotus fans were shocked at the news, but many of them were happy with the new cast.

“I will start watching from season three. Here for Leslie. Jason. Michelle and Parker,” one X, formerly Twitter user, wrote.

“Thai actors YES. This team is STACKED. #WhiteLotus,” said another.

“Parker Posey?! A dream! #TheWhiteLotus,” added a third.

“So happy to see Jason Isaacs in this!” wrote another.

“Oh. Let’s go,” tweeted a fan.
