Sasha Mielczarek opens up on split with Bachelorette Sam Frost

SASHA Mielczarek has revealed he hasn’t been in contact with his ex Sam Frost since their split - claiming it’s been “a tough couple of months”.

SASHA Mielczarek has revealed he hasn’t spoken to his ex-girlfriend, former Bachelorette star Sam Frost, since their split — which he said left him “absolutely heartbroken” — late last year.

“I haven’t seen her, no,” he told Confidential. “I’ve been working long hours and been in Sydney head-down, arse-up, and when I’m not there I’m down the South Coast, so there’s not much time to do anything else really.

“We will talk in due course,” he added.

The pair announced in December that their Bachelorette fairytale was over after 18 months, citing the challenges of a long-distance relationship as the reason behind their split.

The construction project manager, who turns 32 on Saturday, said he had been distracting himself with work and was busy building two houses in Bowral, one for himself and one for his mother Kym.

“It’s been a tough couple of months, back around Christmas-time,” he said, “I’m still single, I’m enjoying it actually, just concentrating on myself and spending a lot of time with my family.”

This week Frost had yet another run-in with her followers on Instagram, posting a picture before deleting it shortly after and asking her followers: “Why oh why internet do you turn a positive thing into something negative so quickly?”

She had earlier posted a picture of herself in a low-cut top with the caption: “I’d rather be loved for being a bit of a dork with a good sense of humour and a kind heart ... than be desired for posting sexual photos of my body on social media.

Mielczarek said Frost’s relationship with social media had always been tumultuous because she was a “sensitive soul”.

“She can get quite upset because she doesn’t understand why people are being (negative),” he said. “For me, I cop more s..t on a construction site so it doesn’t really bother me.”
