Russell Brand suggests he’s the father of Fifi Box’s baby

IS RUSSELL Brand Fifi Box’s baby daddy? He suggested it in unaired interview footage — and now Fifi’s been blindsided live on air.

He seems to think so.

The “revelation” came out on The Project when Fifi Box was a guest panellist on Tuesday night.

She was played a snippet of footage from an interview Brand did on the show last week that didn’t make it to air.

In the footage, co-host Gorgi Coghlan brings Fifi’s name up to the controversial comedian. And apparently he’s quite familiar with the bubbly blonde radio host.

“Now Russell, one of our hosts is Fifi Box and we understand you ...” Gorgi began to say before she was cut off by the funny man.

“You’re joking, where is she?! Tell her I wanna see my kid,” said an excited Russell.

That’s when the audio cut out on the cross — so the panellists couldn’t press him for answers on the big statement.

It’s a good thing Fifi was co-hosting this week so she could be blindsided and made answer our burning questions!

Brand ... “Tell her I wanna see my kid!”

The 38-year-old mum of one did her best to deny and deflect.

“Fortunately, we’ve got to wrap up now,” she laughed right before the credits began to roll.

“It’s not Russell’s, okay!”

But it turns out the two have had a few run-ins before.

Earlier this year, Fifi told news.com.au Russell Brand was her most surprising interview.

“By the end of the interview he was straddling me, grinding me inappropriately and trying to kiss me,” she said.

And while she was interviewing him for his 2010 flick Get Him To The Greek, he took a particular fancy to her name.

“There’s no doubt about it, Fifi — you are a woman,” he told her.

“Everything about you — your appearance, your name — suggests femininity. A more feminine name than Fifi Box I struggle to think of.

“Other than being called Jezebel Vagina ... femininity exudes.”

Way to go, Fi.
