British TV presenter and producer Hayley Palmer joined Labbett in Los Angeles recently, where he is filming the US version of The Chase and a separate game show, Master Minds.

When Palmer’s short trip came to an end, Labbett shared a snap of him and his girlfriend together, confirming the long-rumoured romance.

“It was Hayley’s last day today. Missing her already,” he wrote, alongside a broken heart emoji.

The picture appeared to have been taken outside an apartment block, with Palmer dressed in a floral maxi dress and Labbett in a black T-shirt and boardshorts.

After Palmer headed home, Labbett shared an update on Twitter to tell his fans that all was well.

“Great day, watching Captain America on the couch followed by US Open Golf #simplepleasures,” he wrote.

A source told The Sun that Palmer “caught a plane to LA on Wednesday to see Mark” for a short romantic getaway.

“He’s working really hard but wants to make time for her at the weekend,” the source said.

“She’s been so busy with her own projects back in London, but they’re both determined to make this work.

“Hayley’s even bagged herself an interview with a US radio station, a podcast appearance and she’ll be reporting from Hollywood for GB News.”

The couple reportedly met in October at the National Television Awards in the UK and have been spotted sporadically on each other’s social media accounts in the months since.

The quizmaster, who lost more than 63kg in a self-described weight loss journey, posed for a selfie with the presenter in May.

“At Southsea. Oh I do like to be beside the seaside,” Labbett wrote, alongside an image of the pair smiling broadly at the beach.

“Fish and chips followed by ice cream #simplepleasures.”

On May 9, Labbett revealed he was picking up his “skinny suit” for an upcoming event.

“Picking up my skinny suits sometime this week … Will post photos when I get a chance to wear them at a gig #skinnybeast,” he wrote on Twitter.

In 2021, Labbett revealed the heartwarming reason behind his dramatic weight loss, sharing that he had welcomed a golden retriever into his family.

He branded the pup his “personal trainer”, sharing photos of them running in fields and playing in obstacle courses together.

Labbett, who is originally British, has starred on the UK, US and Australian versions of The Chase. He was previously married to Katie Labbett, before it was revealed the pair were second cousins.

The couple split three years ago amid cheating rumours.
