FBoy Island Australia returns for Season 2

A partner swap played out on Monday’s episode of dating show FBoy Island Australia – and it hands down gave its controversial counterpart Married At First Sight a run for its money.

This week on the BINGE dating show, which follows three women trying to find love in a dating pool of FBoys and Nice Guys, the leading ladies were tasked with spending a group date with each others’ top three men.

While trio Krystal Thomas, Nicole Mitrov and Ally Woodfall went into the partner swaps looking to find out more information about their friends’ love interests, host Abbie Chatfield hoped they’ll catch out some men on their lies or behaviour.

“Your job is kind of to interrogate and to see what the guys are like not around their woman,” Abbie told them before the group dates. “See if there’s any intel, see if there’s any rumours that’s actually true or exaggerated.”

“They might flirt with one of you, who knows what’s gonna happen.”

Off the bat, Ally expressed her concerns on camera about one of her frontrunners, Joe. In episode one, when the men first arrived on the island, Joe set his sights immediately on Nicole, a model from Geelong.

Naturally, the powers that be on the island decided Ally and Nicole should swap men – and the commentary and conduct will have you passing the popcorn.

As they sipped drinks by the pool, Joe couldn’t help but sexualise the situation.

“They make things sweeter, right?” Chad asked Nicole as she sipped on a pineapple drink. Before she could answer, Joe said: “Makes your c*m taste better,” making Nicole almost spit out her drink in shock.

Fully aware that Joe had eyes on her from day one before pivoting to Ally, Nicole ups the flirt factor in hopes of further catching out Joe.

“I want to see if he's still interested in me. And flirting with him is the quickest way to find that out.”

Cue a game of FBoy Twister. While Ally’s other crush Nuggett behaves and doesn’t take the bait, Joe and Chad willing get on their hands and knees.

“I think the girls are trying to set us up to try to see one, who breaks and two, what intel they can get on the other guys,” Nuggett told the producers.

“Girls talk, so I’m the one navigating the goddamn spinny thing because I don’t want to get in trouble.”

As they got their game on, Joe said it was “exciting” being next to Nicole, while Chad said he had to make a “real conscious effort” to not “flirt back”. A bit tough when their bodies were all intertwined.

“Wow, your full c**k is in my face, Chad,” she cheekily told him, as he replied, “That’s the most action I’ve had in a while.”

Nuggett, watching like a hawk from a far with the spinny thing in his hands, willed the boys to settle down as Nicole requested “no fisting, just elbowing” allowed in the game.

“Joe, keep your c*m in your pants bro, you know she’s going to tell Ally,” Nuggett said in his piece to camera.

And he was right. Later on at the mixer, Ally asked Nicole for a debrief but not before pulling aside Joe and Chad separately and asking them for their version of events.

Chad admitted that he overstepped and just “got caught up in the moment”. While he apologised for his flirting, Joe did not and even said it was Nicole who was being “flirtatious right from the start”, calling her actions “confronting”.

Ally appeared to lap up Joe’s version until she cross-referenced notes with Nicole.

“Chad was definitely really flirty, but Joe was so much worse,” Nicole said. “In terms of Joe, we had a chat on the hammock. And he’d say things like, ‘I don’t want to say that, I'll get in trouble,’ like those kinds of comments.”

Ally countered that Joe said her flirting was “awkward”, much to Nicole’s shock.

“Obviously I was turning it up, but like I was flirting and asking questions and he didn't say stop,” she shared.

Ally suffered another blow later at elimination when Nuggett decides to walk. Fed-up with being second place to Joe and Chad, who exhibited flirty behaviour on the partner swap dates, Nuggett was done.

“This is my fifth time being up here and every single time, I felt like I’ve just had to fight and fight, and I’m frankly tired,” he said when asked by Abbie to say why Ally should take him to the finale.

“Like, I feel like I keep fighting trying to prove to you who I am and what I am,” he added before revealing his status in this mic-drop moment: “And just so that everybody knows, I am Nuggett and I am a Nice Guy. But I can’t keep doing this sh*t. I’m sorry. It’s all still love.”

And with that Nuggett walked out of the villa leaving Ally with her default final two: Joe and Chad. But given their flirty antics with Nicole, are Ally’s final two options actually FBoys?
