Pig does a live dump during Edwina Bartholomew’s weather report on Sunrise
IT seemed like a good idea at the time: a live cross to the Melbourne Show for Edwina Bartholomew’s weather report on Sunrise. But a little piglet stole the show.

EDDIE’S a trooper.
Sunrise’s Edwina Bartholomew has been put in all kinds of situations for her daily weather report, from zipping about on a flying fox to abseiling down a cliff.
She also once delivered her entire forecast while treading water in the ocean.
But a live cross on this morning’s show left the usually unflappable 32-year-old in a fit of giggles.
Bartholomew was delivering one of her early segments from a pigpen at the Melbourne Show when she broke out in laughs, explaining that one of the piglets had just defecated on her leg.
She gamely struggled on with the forecast, eventually using her printed script to help clean up her jeans.
She later apologised in advance to the people who will be sitting near on her plane trip home to Sydney today for any lingering smell.
It’s not the first time a member of the Sunrise team has lost it live on air — newsreader Natalie Barr also famously got the giggles while reading a bulletin back in 2010.
