KARL Stefanovic’s wife Cassandra Thorburn has been spotted in Sydney amid rumours she and her hubby of 21 years have called it quits.

CASSANDRA Thorburn, wife of Today show host Karl Stefanovic, has shown her face amid rumours she and her hubby of 21 years have called it quits.

While Stefanovic was busy manning the desk at work, yesterday the 44-year-old was snapped in Sydney stepping out to do the daily school run for the couple’s three children — Jackson, 16, Ava, 11 and River, 10.

Thorburn started her day taking the kids to school.

The 44-year-old hasn’t addressed rumours she’s split with her hubby.

The TV host’s wife looked fit in her active wear.

Looking fit in her active wear, the busy mum kept her head down as she got into the car and drove away.

Stefanovic has made no mention of the breakup or anything to do with his personal life on air since news broke of the split at the weekend.

He also ignored several paparazzi who followed him from Channel 9’s studio in Sydney’s north, however he managed to lose them somewhere around the Harbour Bridge.

It’s understood Stefanovic has moved out of the family home.

It’s understood the TV presenter has moved out of the family home, and is believed to be staying at his close mate James Packer’s Bondi apartment.

The pair met in the mid 1990s while Stefanovic was working with WIN Television and Thorburn with ABC radio in Rockhampton. The Today presenter claims he was “smitten” from the start.

Stefanovic has spoken of how Thorburn gave up a promising career at the ABC to raise their children and just a few years ago he was praising her for “being a great influence on my life” and having the “best arse I’ve ever seen”.

“She gave up a promising career at the ABC and I’m forever thankful and tremendously appreciative of that,” he told The Sunday Telegraph last year.

Friends of the couple are reportedly stunned by the separation, however it is understood the pair is trying to work the marriage out.
