‘I might do it myself’: Tziporah Malkah determined to be a mum
Tziporah Malkah has stunned the nation with her makeover, now she’s got her sights set on motherhood and is not afraid to go it alone if necessary.

Tziporah Malkah has revealed she’s determined to become a mother, even if she has to do it alone.
The 90s model formerly known as Kate Fischer is back in shape, both physically and emotionally, after years of struggling with her mental health.
But at 45, she says she’s still waiting to find the right person with whom she could start a family.
“If I haven’t met someone I want to have kids with by the time I am 50, I’m just going to do it myself,” she told 9Honey.
“My mother (politician Pru Goward) tried to encourage me to freeze my eggs when I was in my thirties but it’s a very invasive process. It’s not as easy as people think it is.
“So I’m still waiting for the right baby daddy but it’s taking a long time, so I might do it myself.”
Malkah said she would be open to both adoption or in vitro fertilisation (IVF), but had no worries about being a mother at 50.
“There are so many babies I could adopt and my mother agrees that adoption laws need to be loosened,” she said.
“I mean we don’t die at 60 now. We live for much longer so I could become a mother at 50. Even if I have to do IVF.”
Malkah unveiled her new bikini body on A Current Affair earlier this week— the result of an incredible 50-kilogram weight-loss and skin fold surgery.
A hypnotherapy program is also helping her keep the weight off, while boosting her confidence, she said.
“Now that I’ve been through this process, I’ve realised how much time I used to spend thinking about food,” she told 9Honey.
“Now I have all this extra time for other more important things and now I honour myself when I have a craving for sugar.
“It’s about mindset.”
Malkah was one of Australia’s most successful models during the 1990s and appeared on the cover of numerous magazines and overseas campaigns.
That work required her to be “very obedient”, but she’s now not afraid to put herself first, she said.
“I’ve often bitten off more than I can chew, but now I do what works for me,” she said.
“I say ‘no’ and I don’t feel bad about it. I can say ‘no thank you’ and not feel awful and overcompensate for it.
“It’s changed my life for the better.”
