Gamble’s reuinion secret: “One of the women just completely loses her s**t”

TEARS, tantrums and a walkout …. The Real Housewives of Melbourne Reunion packs plenty of punches, Gamble Breaux reveals.

SHE could have ended it with her reputation in tatters, but Gamble Breaux has wrapped her first season of Real Housewives of Melbourne with it, and her humour, intact.

“It’s quite something to get through in one piece that’s for sure,” said the 43-year-old who had to survive allegations she was a former stripper who held sex parties.

“Nothing could have prepared me — not for that — really, but you know, it’s character building,” she laughs.

“I was devastated at the time, but you sort of have to laugh now.

“I wasn’t expecting a total character assassination — that whole thing — I mean for crying out loud it was so over the top.

“I’d signed up to go up against other Housewives, not some bloke that wanted some publicity. I was pretty pissed off that came about but when Gina (Liano) helped me and cross-examined him his whole story fell apart.”

The Real Housewives drama continues at the reunion, with filming halted for two hours when one Housewife had ‘a total meltdown’ and stormed off set.

“We knew it was going to be gladiatorial and feisty, I knew there was stuff coming at me — so I was ready, thinking ‘you know what these girls are about. They’re as bitchy as they can be, they’ll throw anything at you, so armour up’,” Breaux says.

“But about ten minutes into filming, this explosion happens over something really random and one of the women just completely loses her s**t.

“The person having the tantrum was calling us liars — and I’m thinking, hey that should be me getting upset.

“The person who melts down was so strong all season I didn’t see it coming.”

With season three still a mystery in terms of who will return — Liano is rumoured to be ready to exit — Breaux says she’ll be back if she is wanted — despite strained relationships with some of her co-cast.

“Pettifleur (Berenger) and I are fighting like cats and dogs — I’ve blocked her on Facebook,” she confesses.

“I’ve read her book (Berenger’s self-published Switch the Bitch), but when she starts going on about Pathetic Bitch — I wouldn’t call anyone pathetic and those two words together … I had to put it down.

“It’s just a small little book, it’s a cute book, buy it if you want to. Read it on the train ... it’ll only take one train trip.”

And she promises if she does return she won’t expose viewers to yet another Housewives product — no books, no shoes, no tequila, no tea.

“I just don’t think anyone could mentally tolerate another launch,” she laughs.

“My whole existence won’t be around flogging some product.”
