Footage shows Andrew O’Keefe say n-word on This is Your Laugh

A clip showing disgraced star Andrew O’Keefe saying an offensive racial slur on a popular 2000s television show has emerged.

Footage has emerged of disgraced presenter Andrew O’Keefe appearing to say a racial slur on TV almost 15 years ago.

The former Deal or No Deal host made the comment on Channel 7’s This Is Your Laugh.

The clip is from an episode of the short-live program broadcast in 2008.

In the segment, O’Keefe is interviewing radio host and comedian Dylan Lewis when the conversation appears to go awry.

“I thought, this guy is wack, that’s how we used to say it back then,” he said.

“Wack means s**t,” his guest replied.

O’Keefe then retorted: “Not where I came from, n***er.”

The audience is heard reacting in shock to the quip, letting out a collective gasp soon after it was said.

Channel 7 has been contact for comment.

O’Keefe is currently facing charges including breaching an apprehended violence order.

He is currently being held at Sydney’s Silverwater Prison, where he is on remand after being refused bailed following his alleged attack on a woman in at a CBD apartment on January 25.

O’Keefe was also last week hit with a further charge of possess prohibited drug after police found him with 1.5 grams of cannabis.

According to police, the January 25 incident allegedly involved O’Keefe punching and kicking the woman who was forced to bite him in order to escape.

The court was previously told that O’Keefe claimed he was acting in self-defence and sustained injuries during the incident, which came about after a verbal altercation.

O’Keefe’s alleged victim cannot be identified due to court orders protecting her privacy.
