Baby Reindeer: Fiona Harvey accused of chilling email spree

The woman who inspired the Baby Reindeer stalker character allegedly bombarded a major figure with vile taunts.

Piers Morgan sheds more light on his interview with alleged Baby Reindeer stalker

The woman who inspired the character of TV’s Baby Reindeer stalker is accused of bombarding the UK’s Opposition Leader with vile taunts in a months-long email spree that targeted his loved ones.

Fiona Harvey sent Sir Keir Starmer a staggering 276 messages in less than eight months, which included vicious attacks on the politician and his family, The Sun reports.

The woman who inspired the stalker character Martha in the Netflix series allegedly called Sir Keir “a stupid little boy” and used a disabled slur to abuse his wife.

Scottish-born Ms Harvey, whose bombshell TV interview with Piers Morgan racked up millions of views around the world, told the British Labour Party leader he was in a “non job” and a “useless barrister”, The Sun reported.

She is also accusing of emailing Sir Keir and others with an offensive attack on his dead relatives as well as accusing him of having a “filthy house”.

Ms Harvey has denied stalking and has said she will sue streaming giant Netflix and comedian Richard Gadd after episodes of Baby Reindeer began with a message saying “this is a true story”.

The Netflix series, which examines Gadd’s character Donny being relentlessly stalked by a Scottish woman named “Martha Scott”, led to Harvey being identified by social media sleuths as the inspiration for her.

According to The Sun, Ms Harvey, who studied law, also warned Sir Keir she would hit him with complaints to standards watchdogs, telling him: “Your life won’t be worth living.”

The emails were allegedly sent to Sir Keir between January and August 2020 and were signed off “Sent from my iPhone”, the trademark style used by the Baby Reindeer character even though she doesn’t have an iPhone.

Many of the messages include attacks on the British Labour Party and complaints about Harvey’s battles with her local council in London, where she has lived for years.

The Sun said the Metropolitan Police had been made aware of Ms Harvey’s messages but had not provided further detail.

In her interview with Morgan earlier this month, Ms Harvey admitted having four phones and six email addresses, but denied ever stalking comedian Gadd.

Netflix has said all messages in the series were identical to texts and emails received by Gadd as part of its true-to-life promise.
