Tay Tay’s tears after Grammys performance

TAYLOR Swift knocked it out of the park with her Grammys performance on Monday night, but a teeny tiny mistake left her visibly upset when she took her seat afterwards.

The 26-year-old superstar opened the show with an incredible rendition of Out of the Woods, alongside Jack Antonoff who co-wrote the song with her. But apparently the performance wasn’t up to Tay Tay’s standards and she was beyond frustrated by the time she returned to her seat in the front row.

Cameras caught the singer being consoled by her bestie Selena Gomez while she wiped away a tear. She then turned to a friend behind her and mouthed, “I missed that note, did you hear?”

We tend to think Tay was being a tad too hard on herself. Her energetic rendition of the 1989 album highlight was praised by fans and critics and as the night wore on, things only got better for her.

The Blank Space singer was up for seven awards this year, including Album of the Year — which she won, becoming the first woman to win Album of the Year twice.

Even better, she used her acceptance speech to make a subtle dig at Kanye West.

“I want to say to all the young women out there, there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or you fame,” Swift said on stage, which many took as her classy response to the rapper’s recent claims that he made her famous.

“But if you just focus on the work, and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, some day when you get where you are going, you will look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you that put you there and that will be the greatest feeling in the world.”

She also had the best reaction to an award win that we’ve seen in a while.
