Former reality TV star Dannii Erskine has been successful in taking out an Apprehended Personal Violence Order against a Sydney podcaster.

Erskine, who appeared on Seven’s Bride and Prejudice in 2019, took Megan Pustetto to court last week for the registration of an external protection order.

Going before Magistrate Justine Milledge at Waverley Local Court, Erskine was granted a 52-day order prohibiting Pustetto from stalking, harassing, intimidating or threatening her.

According to court documents, an AVO was made “for the protection of Dannii Erskine prohibiting or restricting the behaviour of the defendant Megan Pustetto”.

Under the AVO, Pustetto must not “intentionally or recklessly destroy or damage any property or harm an animal that belongs to or is in the possession of Dannii Erskine”.

Neither party appeared at Waverley Court on July 11.

According to the orders, Megan Pustetto can no longer publish anything about Erskine.

A separate six-month Personal Safety Intervention Order was taken out in Melbourne in March by Erskine against Pustetto that expires on September 1.

As part of the conditions, Pustetto must not publish on the internet, by email or other electronic communications any material about the protected person.

Pustetto is not charged with any criminal wrongdoing.

The new AVO comes after Pustetto published several pieces on her So Dramatic podcast and website claiming Erskine had faked her own death.

In 2023, a person purporting to being Erskine’s sister, Dee, told the controversial podcast Dannii had died in a car crash.

However, Erskine later came forward and revealed she was very much alive, and the death notice was a result of her Instagram account being hacked.

Pustetto published not one but six episodes of her podcast detailing Erskine’s accident.

Erskine and Pustetto have been contacted for comment.
