The hotly anticipated Sydney production of Hamilton premiered on Saturday, and a cavalcade of celebrities flocked to see it. See all the pictures.

Celebrities, politicians, business leaders and fans have walked the red carpet for the Sydney premiere of Hamilton — the world’s only currently running production of the hit Broadway show.

Keith Urban, Delta Goodrem and Celeste Barber were among the lucky holders of the hottest ticket in town as the curtain rose for Saturday’s opening.

Taking centre stage at the Sydney Lyric Theatre, the production features an almost-all Australian cast taking on the roles in the renowned show.
