This weekend Zena Nasser and her well-heeled Eastern Suburbs pals will celebrate the arrival of her baby with one of the country’s richest men, with a lavish baby shower in Richard White’s Palm Beach home.
Saturday Confidential can reveal former criminal defence lawyer Nasser and wealthy tech boss White, who welcomed a baby in July into their family via a surrogacy in the US, will today hold a baby shower for the billionaire heir, which will be attended by some of Sydney’s best known socialites.
And rumours are swirling that the soiree might actually be a pseudo wedding after the pair secretly tied the knot in recent weeks.
The infant, said to be a boy, is Nasser’s second child.
The 43-year-old also has a teenage daughter.
White, 69, has adult children from a former marriage.
White and Nasser had kept their journey to parenthood largely private but with the shower are ready to share this milestone with their closest friends and family.
Among those attending the no-expense spared event are Ellie Aitken; Kate Champion, who is the ex-wife of Laser Clinics Australia founder Alistair Champion; Real Housewives of Sydney cast member Victoria Montano; Sentosa designs founder Amanda Lennon; Eleni Taylor and Litsa Stavropoulos.
It was reportedly being held at Lennon’s Vaucluse home, however, the location recently changed, fuelling speculation the lunchtime event may be a wedding as well as a baby shower.
White and Nasser’s names have hit the headlines in recent weeks thanks to his very public fall out and ugly court battle with his former lover and Double Bay beautician, Linda Rogan.
White, Nasser and Rogan have recently been revealed in court as the three main players in what has become one of Sydney’s most intriguing love triangles.
Recently, lawyers for White served laser clinic operator Rogan with a bankruptcy notice.
The notice came 17 months after Rogan had the WiseTech Global founder served with legal documents to claim $92,000 she says she was owed for furniture she bought for a $13m Vaucluse house she alleges White secretly bought in 2022.
In legal documents, White has denied Rogan’s allegations concerning the house and the furniture.
The bankruptcy notice is an attempt by White to recover $92,000 he claims he is owed, after Rogan garnished his bank account thanks to a court order.
However none of that is likely to be mentioned today, when Nasser and her socialite gal pals celebrate the arrival of her first born son.
