Confidential understands the actor spent two weeks in mandatory hotel quarantine after flying in to Sydney several weeks ago.

He has over recent times been focused on his hit Netflix series, Down to Earth with Zac Efron and spent several months shooting the show in Australia.

Earlier this year, Efron flew from Australia to the Middle East to shoot a series of blockbuster movie style campaign videos for Dubai Tourism. Efron has several major productions in the works over the next year, including a film called Gold that he shot in Australia.
